Shade Sails

Create a shelter for your outdoor space

About Shade Sails

The idea behind a shade sail is to create shelter, UV protection or shadows in order for an area to be used for more of the year and for greater comfort. This means that every requirement for a shade is going to be different and so each one can be made to suit your needs.

The design can include triangular, rectangular or much more complicated shapes in 2 or 3 dimensions. There are a range of materials available to suit the application and these come in a wide range of colours to fit in with the surroundings.

The Functionality

Shades for Shelter

A practical solution to protection from the elements is often required. Shades like these are often designed to be up as permanent fixings and that may affect the material choice and design, with the waterproof materials requiring a slope of twenty degrees to promote water run off.

Sun Shades

If you want a stunning piece of design and blocking out the sun is the requirement we can make almost anything to suit. Our bespoke service means that we will work with you to find the best shade that suits your needs.

Layered Shades

Multiple smaller shades can be an effective way to cover larger areas. Big shades put a lot more strain on anchorage points and are harder to install or take down. Smaller shades can break up a space and offer more options for shape and design as well as creating less windage if in an exposed area.
