We chose these specific mainsheets for their soft texture, allowing it to easily navigate around blocks and providing a smooth, manageable feel. All to allow for a 2:1 purchase at the transom to reduce mainsheet loads.
 
Standard:
Grippy and reliable with low tendancy to kink and available in 7mm or 8mm depending on your preference.
 
Machine Tapered:
The tapered mainsheet is a high tech product, with a taper from 4mm to 7mm. The machine taper provides a really smooth transition is diameter for extra smooth running through blocks. The outer jacket is Polyester for softness and Technora for durability and grip. The inner core is Dyneema for strength and low stretch. This sheet is engineered for performance, offering much less friction when sailing upwind thanks to the thinner section. For downwind, there is less weight in the rope, allowing for better light wind performance.
