RS400 toestraps. Fit them, go sailing, hike hard.

Yes, i know what you're thinking... Hiking is overrated! If you do have to hike however, our straps are perfect for all of the really tough bit that comes with going sailing.

What are our straps all about and why choose Creation Straps?

Ok, there are a lot of different straps available from a range of suppliers, but there isn't just one reason why we sell so many straps, but instead there are lots of features and a clear rationale for choosing us.

1) The materials - We use Polyester webbing that is UV stable, meaning it is durable, strong, reliable and will hold colour over time. The foam is closed cell, so it won't absorb water and the material around the padding is Weathermax, which has great wear resistance and is soft enough to mould to your foot. Thread is UV stable and strong and any eyelets are 316 marine grade stainless so they will last.

2) The construction - Any webbing that isn't padded is doubled over with a Dacron insert. This is then sewn through several times to provide a strong base to support eyelets and any screwed in fittings.

3) The range of options - We are set up to do bespoke and one-off straps, so do a large number of straps to dimensions provided. This means that if you choose, we can make to suit your individual needs. The choices also include colours of webbing (black or grey) and colour of padding. (loads to choose from)

Now for a little close up on the standard 400 straps.

The padding is soft for maximising comfort and spreading out over your boot, but firm enough to hold shape and be easy to tuck your feet under. There are standard straps, and you can design them how you like, with different colours available.

Fitting your own straps should be pretty simple, with just a few knots required. We can also provide rope for tying the straps in place and shockcord for the lifting points too.

We are always happy to chat about what you want from your straps, so send an email, give us a call or just check out our toestraps section, which is on the dinghies page for even more details!
